 James was born and raised in New Jersey until 1985, he moved to Florida. He graduated from FSFB in 1993 and attended National Truck School in Orange Park, Florida and graduated with a CDL in 2010. In 2008, he saw several people who are deaf or hard of hearing still struggling to get their CDL and felt the urge to help them and others, so he then created Deaf Truckers United (DTU), so everyone can help each other to succeed to achieve their dreams to become a truck driver. Since then, DTU has grown to over 950 members to date and continues to grow. His position to DTU is as a Founder of DTU. In his spare time, he likes to ride his Harley, go to the beach and car shows, and spend time playing with his dog.
